1 cup cream
1 1/2 cups flour

Beat eggs; add sugar and mix; then add cream, flour and vanilla. Put one tablespoon of batter on the preheated krumkake iron. Bake on both sides. Remove when it is golden brown and shape around a cone. Some families simply roll them up without using the cone form. Others like to leave them flat like pizzelles.
Shaping KrumkakeTo compack storing I often make tubes instead of cones. This is done on a bread board around a wooden spoon handle. Lay flat, place handle on edge of hot krumkake and roll, place on rack to cool and pack in boxes. These freeze well and taste wonderful just like that or filled with whipped cream .
