You will be a whiz at making this unique wedding cake using these special non-stick rings. This special wedding cake design is a Scandinavian tradition from years gone by that is still enjoyed today by brides and grooms of many backgrounds. The kransekake rings come with free wedding cake recipes to make the 18-ring cookie wedding cake.

The rings are carefully assembled with royal icing. Then, royal icing is used to make the distinctive looping design on the rings. Small flags from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland can be added to the sides of the wedding cake for a fun and distinctive decoration. Couples who have a specific country in mind may choose just one country's flags for their unique wedding cake.

At the wedding reception, the bridal couple breaks the rings of the cake into small pieces and shares them with their loved one. Then, guests are invited to break off a piece of the kransekake and enjoy the wedding feast with the newly married couple.
