Scandinavian Waffles for the Waffler 1 3/4 cups heavy cream 1 1/2 cups cake flour 1/2 cup ice water 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 3-4 tablespoons melted butter Beat the cream until stiff peaks form. Sift in the flour. Add water, sugar, and salt and beat slowly until blended. Pour in melted butter. Brush the waffle iron with butter and pre-heat. Pour in batter by the spoonfuls and bake until golden brown. Serve immediately or keep warm in the oven on racks to keep them crisp. These are great served with fruit preserves, whipped cream, maple syrup, whipped cream, or any other sweet taste that you like.
